Who attends Morning Star?

We offer a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the individual educational needs of students in First Grade through age 22.

What are the school hours for Morning Star?

School hours are Monday – Friday, 7:55am – 2:30pm.  Students may arrive as early as 7:30a.m. 

What are the class sizes at Morning Star School?

Classes will not exceed 12 students per classroom.

How much is the tuition?

Tuition and fees at Morning Star School for the 2023-2024 school year total $14,360.

The cost to educate one student for the 2023-2024 school year is $18,228,79.

Does the school offer scholarships?

We accept the FES-UA, FES-EO, and FTC through the state of Florida.  A student may also be eligible for a need-based scholarship based on the family’s financial circumstances.  There is an online application process that will need to be completed.  Please contact the school office for more information.

Are parents required to complete service hours?

Morning Star asks two parent families to contribute 20 service hours and single parent families to complete 10 service hours.  Those not completing their service hours will be required to pay $25 per uncompleted hour. 

Does Morning Star School offer an extended day program?

We offer an extended day program from dismissal to 5:30p.m. each school day.  The fees for the program are $25 registration, $50 weekly rate or $15 daily drop-in rate.

Are students required to wear uniforms?

Yes, school uniforms are required.  Uniform shirts and P.E. shirts may be purchased in the school office.

Does my child have to be Catholic to attend Morning Star School?

We welcome students of all faiths.  Both Catholic and non-Catholic students are required to participate in religion class.  The exposure to faith, values, and prayer strengthens the child spiritually and provides an awareness of the significance and value of all lives.  Students attend weekly Mass.
