On February 25th, the Pinellas Park Rotary Club honored Rotary member and long-time Morning Star School supporter, Mr. Jerry Krauss. He was presented with the Rotary International Vocational Leadership Award for his sharing of Rotary ideals. Through his work with his bowling centers (Seminole and Sunrise Lanes), Mr. Krauss has shown his dedication to Morning Star School, Pinellas County Schools and the community. Speakers at the luncheon included District Governor Will Miller, Kevin Krauss, Richard Breske, Judge Irene Sullivan, Casey Neubert, Michelle Topping and Buddy Brown. Mrs. Conza attended the luncheon and awards ceremony. “Mr. Krauss has been a generous supporter of Morning Star from the school’s inception. We are blessed to have such a stalwart benefactor.
I am so happy to attend this wonderful celebration,” said Mrs. Conza.

MSSPP Gets a New Playground

Because of grants from Guardian Trust, ‪#‎CarCreditCares‬ (part of Car Credit of Tampa), Publix Super Markets Charities, Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club and parent fundraising and a little hard work, a new playground was installed at Morning Star School last week. We are MIGHTILY BLESSED! The students were so happy and excited to get out there on the new equipment. Thank you to Wayne Armand of Project Innovations Inc. for putting together a wonderful play area for the kids. Their smiling faces and words of gratitude make everything worth it.

Seminole and Sunrise Lanes Love our Students

Cory Krauss of Seminole and Sunrise Lanes stopped by our school offices with a check for $5,000. What an awesome way to kick-off the school year.  Thank you for your deep commitment to our students and our mission.  In addition, we are so pleased to be continuing our tradition of bowling field trips to Seminole Lanes this year.  Thank you for your help in making this happen. The children love bowling at Seminole Lanes!
